Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Jester Head (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Johnny Cash (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The judges for this bout are Daniel Bishop, William Gold and Donald Grub.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cash moves out of range of the body kick from Head.

Cash fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Head sprawls well initially but Cash persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
Well, if Cash is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.
Head is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Head trying to hold on to Cash's head to control him but Cash postures up.

Head has hold of Cash's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Cash manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Head stalling away here and it's allowed Cash to slip out his trapped foot and regain full guard.

Head has his hand under the chin of his opponent looking for the choke. He's nearly got it! This one could be all over! But no, Cash has freed his hand and lives to survive another… well, another couple of seconds at least!

That was a close round but I would say that Jester Head will probably get the nod.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.



Head closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Head lands in his opponent's guard.

Let's hope that Cash has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Jester Head.
Well Head has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
