Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Barnum Mann (ranked 3245 p4p, 122 weight class) and Tobias Funke (ranked 4104 p4p, 131 weight class). Tobias Funke will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are William Peck, Gregory Folan and Dillan Fox.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Funke darts in looking for a takedown but Mann gets double underhooks and turns Funke into the cage.
A cross from Funke lands.
Mann rushes Funke and presses him up against the cage.
Funke goes for a body shot but it's blocked.
Funke is looking to take this one to the mat.
Funke changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Mann fights it off and pushes away nicely.
Barnum Mann has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Tobias Funke.
Mann fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Funke, pushing him back against the cage.
I was talking to Mann's coach per-fight and he was telling me that they'd been working on the clinch in the runup to this fight.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Funke swings wildly with an uppercut but Mann uses good head movement to avoid it.

Funke tries to throw a body punch but Mann avoids it by throwing Funke back against the cage.

Mann lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Funke backwards.
Mann is pressed up against the cage. Funke has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Mann down to the mat. Mann avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
Funke shoots in for a takedown but Mann shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.

A nice right hand lands inside from Mann.
Mann digs a right hand underneath Funke's ribcage. Funke let out a lung full of air as it connected.
A right hook to the body lands for Mann.
Funke takes an elbow to the forehead.
Funke is rocked!
It looks like Tobias Funke has been cut.
Mann creates some distance for himself and unleashes a massive uppercut that sends Funke's eyes rolling into the back of his head! Funke drops to his knees and Mann pours it on with more strikes until the referee steps in to end the bout!
