Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Yucuc Le (ranked 4503 p4p, 0 weight class) and Hailie Beri (ranked 4558 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Le.

Le is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Beri is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.

Le is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Beri is aware though and is defending well.

It looks like Yucuc Le has been cut.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Le reaches up to try and control the position but Beri seems to have an arm triangle now! Uh oh! Le rolls and tries to escape and now Beri has his back!
Beri is trying to stick to Le's back but Le is turning into Beri. He's managed to reverse the position - now he's in Beri's guard. Polite applause from the crowd in appreciation of some nice Jiu Jitsu by Le.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Beri is on top in guard.

Beri wants to free his trapped foot but Le is holding on for dear life with his legs.

Beri lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears.

Beri lands strikes from half guard.
Beri is looking to advance position but Le won't allow it.

Beri is looking for a kimura but Le is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Beri to get the leverage.

Beri is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Le doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Beri.

We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
Beri has been the more effective fighter overall so far.

The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.

and Beri makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.

Beri shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.
Beri working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.
Beri takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. Let's hear some noise people - this is the final round!

The fight stays on the outside here - Le looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
And Beri tries to counter it with a takedown but Le pushes his down on his head and steps out.

Beri shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Beri was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!

Well Beri has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
