The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Imanari misses with a wild body shot.

and Christiano counters with a thumping low kick.
Christiano tries to land a front kick but Imanari steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
Christiano punishes Imanari's body with a nice straight punch.

Imanari looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Christiano trying to keep a closed guard but Imanari is proving a slippery customer.

Imanari trying to control the position from guard on top but Christiano is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Imanari is pushing down on Christiano's leg trying to pass to half guard. Christiano is fighting to maintain full guard but Imanari has managed to sneak the leg through.
Christiano tries to roll over but Imanari keeps him under control.

Imanari is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Christiano doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Imanari.
Imanari seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Christiano does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Imanari tries to pass the half guard into mount. Christiano knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.
Christiano is trying to stand up here but Imanari is controlling him well.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Imanari is pressing down on Christiano's thigh, looking to free his foot. Christiano is holding on for now.

The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.
Christiano throws a nice inside leg kick.

I would just about give that final round to Nobuki Imanari.
