Coming up we have a heavyweight kickboxing rules bout between David Tua (ranked 23165 p4p, 499 weight class) and Muhammad Jabari (ranked 22903 p4p, 485 weight class). The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
7 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, David Tua! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
8 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Muhammad Jabari! The judges for this bout are Taro Takaoka, Ren Mimura and Yukihiro Shimada.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! The fighters circle momentarily. Tua darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
It looks like Muhammad Jabari has been cut. Tua throws a jab but it's blocked by Jabari. Tua takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily. Jabari is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Tua. Tua slips a jab from Jabari. Jabari clobbers Tua with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise. Wow, both these guys are really going for it! Tua drives through and clinches with Jabari against the ropes.
Tua's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button! Jabari lands with a left to the head. Jabari looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights. A head punch on the inside from Jabari fails to land. A right handed body shot lands from Tua.
Jabari looks winded! An uppercut to the body lands inside from Tua. Tua lands a body punch in the clinch. This has been an exciting period of action! Tua tries a body shot but Jabari blocks it.

Tua prevents a body shot from Jabari. Tua working some nice short punches in the clinch. Tua scores with a shot to the side of Jabari's head. Tua can't find room to land a body shot as Jabari controls the action.

That's one minute gone in the round. Tua is leaning against Jabari and scores with a nice uppercut to the body. Tua tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Jabari's elbow. Tua makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut.
Jabari is rocked! Tua definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight. Tua creates a bit of space for himself and unleashed what can only be described as a tiger uppercut, straight out of Street Fighter! Jabari crashes to the mat! Can he make it back to his feet in time? 3,4,5,6... it doesn't look like he's going to make it! Jabari face plants back to the mat and the referee calls off the fight! Tua takes it with a brutal technical knockout!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:17 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punch). David Tua! David Tua bigged himself up after the win. The crowd seemed to love it.
