Coming up we have a super heavyweight kickboxing rules bout between Lorenzo Turturro (ranked 715 p4p, 23 weight class) and Cyril Makarenko (ranked 11660 p4p, 182 weight class). Makarenko has chosen Macarena - Original version as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Yasuomi Hirokawa, Yukihiro Shimada and Shirou Masuda.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Turturro swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Turturro throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Makarenko tries to bum rush Turturro with a series of wild strikes but Turturro uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Turturro scores with a nice head shot.
Turturro takes a swing at Makarenko's ribcage but misses.

Turturro lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Turturro misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Makarenko.
Turturro throws a hook to the side of Makarenko's head but Makarenko sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.

Turturro fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Makarenko manages to avoid it.
Lorenzo Turturro seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Turturro takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.

Makarenko lands a head kick. Turturro smiles back at him and beckons him forward.

Makarenko moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
Turturro throws out a powerful jab.
Makarenko jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Makarenko just misses with a punch to the body.
Turturro checks the leg kick nicely there.

Turturro throws a body shot but no joy.
Turturro moves out of range of the body kick from Makarenko.
A little feinted left hand from Turturro on the counter but he doesn't commit to it.
Turturro scores a knockdown with a big right hand! Makarenko beats the count and gets back to his feet. The referee asks him to walk forwards and it appears he is OK so we'll continue the bout.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

A quick step to the side and Turturro tries to counter with a shot to the body but it doesn't connect.
Makarenko seems to have recovered his senses.
Turturro ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Makarenko moves away.
Makarenko tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Makarenko throws a head kick but Turturro moves out of range.

Turturro works Makarenko's body with a nice hook.
Makarenko takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.
Turturro throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Turturro cracks Makarenko with a good jab.
Turturro stuns Makarenko with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
Turturro connects with a crushing straight, right on the bridge of Makarenko's nose, sending him crumpling to the mat! That's really rocked Makarenko - is he going to beat the count??? 4,5,6,7,8,9.....10 - he's not made it - this one is all over!

A less than humble Lorenzo Turturro misjudged his post fight interview somewhat and came across a little too arrogant whilst trying to hype up his own abilities.
