Hartmann is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Hartmann connects with a nice short shot to Podnar's temple.

Podnar misses with a takedown attempt - Hartmann sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Hartmann looks like he wanted to counter with a high kick but didn't throw it.
Podnar tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Hartmann was well out of range. Poor timing from Podnar.

Podnar fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Hartmann, pushing him back against the cage.
Hartmann is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

Hartmann connects with a decent looking elbow from side control that caused Podnar some visible discomfort.

Hartmann looks up at the clock and then as Podnar takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Hartmann smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!
