Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Joe Burns (ranked 4529 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ryan Delavine (ranked 4161 p4p, 0 weight class). Ryan Delavine is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Joe Burns! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Ryan Delavine! The judges for this bout are Colin Fotheringham, William Gold and James Glass.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Delavine takes the fight into the clinch. Burns dictating the pace here, as the fighters clinch against the cage. Delavine escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Delavine has been working on his striking defense in training and it's paying off as Burns is landing a low percentage of strikes. Burns darts in and clinches Delavine up against the cage. Burns pulls guard. Delavine wants to get up but he can't break Burns's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here. Burns is controlling Delavine's posture. Burns is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Burns perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there. Delavine looks winded! Burns stops Delavine from getting back to his feet.
That's one minute gone in the round. Burns controlling the pace. Burns is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Delavine is just riding it out for now. Burns eventually gives up the hold. Burns escapes and gets back to his feet. The fight moves into the clinch position. A battle for position here, against the cage.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Delavine is trying to break free. Burns is trying to drag Delavine to the mat but Delavine just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there. Burns displaying some good clinch control by pressing Delavine up against the cage. Burns tries to score a body lock takedown but Delavine shows good agility there to stay on his feet. Burns looking for a takedown. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Joe Burns. That's going to take a lot out of him. Delavine misses with a hook to the ribs.
Delavine has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate. Burns tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Delavine smiles and moves away.
Delavine misses with a wild combination.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Burns throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Burns gets a takedown into half guard. Delavine scrambles, trying to get to his feet, but Burns manages to mount him!
Burns sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Burns is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Delavine is surviving well by controlling Burns's body position as best he can. Burns looking to control and managing it successfully. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Burns misses with a head shot. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Joe Burns dominated that round. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin!
Burns throws a head kick but Delavine moves out of range.
Burns shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Burns was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure! Burns in side control, throwing shots but Delavine defends. Burns advances to full mount. Burns controlling from mount. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Burns's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground. Burns is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Delavine can do to turn this around? Burns takes his opponent's back. Perhaps a chance to lock up a rear naked choke here.
Delavine is breathing heavily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Burns has got one arm under Delavine's chin. This could be trouble... Delavine trying to control the other hand but Burns gets it free and sqeezes tight - just a matter of time now! Yep, Delavine has tapped out! The fight is over!
