Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Br John (ranked 5135 p4p, 0 weight class) and Danny Cyning (ranked 4402 p4p, 223 weight class). Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Br John! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Danny Cyning! The judges for this bout are Jorge Garcia, Reed Andrews and Russell Pearce.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Cyning drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Cyning thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead. Cyning is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, John has escaped the position, nice work there. Cyning content to control the pace. The referee will try and keep them active though. Cyning is looking to take a break and control but John is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Cyning misses with the ground and pound.
That's one minute gone in the round. A lull in the action here. Cyning is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but John is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now. John is trying to get back to half guard. Cyning working away. Cyning tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Cyning has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought! John is trying to control Cyning's posture but Cyning avoids it.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Cyning goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, John has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Cyning but great work by John. Cyning manages to work his way to half guard, despite John's best efforts. John is trying to work for a kimura but Cyning is defending well.
Cyning is controlling John's position as best he can from this difficult position. The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now. John is thwarting Cyning's attempts to control the position. Cyning gets back to full guard.
Cyning is looking for a triangle but John pushes his legs off easily.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Cyning controls John momentarily but John frees himself. Cyning might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control John haven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time. Cyning pulls John in close to prevent any damage. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. John connects with a couple of short punches. John missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. John is sitting in close to Cyning's body. Cyning has gone for a guillotine from the bottom. Oh damn, that looks pretty tight! John is panicking - it looks like this one could be all over! Yes, John is tapping! That was a very nice submission by Cyning.
