The judges for this bout are John Roberts, Jorge Garcia and Russell Pearce.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nicky looking for a takedown here - he's got it.
Nicky won't allow Tacktheritrix to sweep him here.
Tacktheritrix has his foot on Nicky's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Nicky works his way back into a safe position though.

Tacktheritrix is trying to control the position but Nicky postures up.
Nicky sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Tacktheritrix's guard.
Tacktheritrix wants to improve his position but Nicky is controlling well.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Nicky is trying to control the action in half guard but Tacktheritrix is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.
Nicky looks to land a strike but Tacktheritrix avoids it nicely and regains full guard.
Nicky stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Tacktheritrix swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Oh but Tacktheritrix is tightening it up a little... Nicky has to be careful here... He's got his foot tucked under now, this looks tight! Nicky reacted too slowly and this one could be over in a matter of seconds! YES! Nicky taps out! Nice BJJ there by Tacktheritrix!
