Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Caio Bottura (ranked 596 p4p, 73 weight class) and Elijah Judah (ranked 792 p4p, 97 weight class). Bottura comes to the cage accompanied by Face The Pain. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Judah lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Judah has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Bottura throws a leg kick which misses Judah's front leg but catches the back leg as Judah tries to avoid it.

Judah got a little sloppy there for a moment and Bottura has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Judah has managed to get both his arms back between Bottura's legs - danger averted.

Judah has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Bottura is working away from the top position though.

That was a close round but I would say that Caio Bottura will probably get the nod.
