Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Seth Sanders (ranked 4774 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bobby Boucher (ranked 4856 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Seth Sanders!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Bobby Boucher!
The judges for this bout are Paulsen Ambrosius, Albert Achterberg and Daniel Blasius.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sanders throws a sloppy body shot

and Boucher holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.

Sanders breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

Boucher has taken the fight to the clinch.
Sanders lands with a left to the head.
Boucher tries to break free but Sanders pushes him back against the cage.
Boucher has Sanders pressed against the cage, preventing Sanders from circling away and getting back to striking at range.
Sanders wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Boucher has him pressed against the cage.
A head punch on the inside from Sanders fails to land.
Sanders swings away with an uppercut that misses.
Sanders is trying to break the clinch but Boucher is controlling him.
Sanders gets underhooks to prevent Boucher's takedown attempt.
Sanders prevents the takedown attempt.

Sanders breaks from the clinch.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Boucher lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Sanders has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Sanders and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.

Seth Sanders has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Bobby Boucher.
Boucher moves out of range of the strikes.

Boucher ducks under a wild hook from Sanders.
Boucher looks to land a combination but Sanders avoids it well.
Sanders throws out a powerful jab.


It looks like Bobby Boucher has been cut.
Boucher displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Sanders throws out the jab.
Boucher shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Sanders as he jumps to the side.
Sanders throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Boucher takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.

Boucher darts in and clinches Sanders up against the cage.

Boucher has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Sanders avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.
Boucher is trying to break free.
Sanders swings away with an uppercut that misses.
An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Sanders.
A nice left hand lands by Boucher.
Sanders misses with a short punch on the inside.
Boucher wants to take the fight to the mat but Sanders manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch.

Sanders is trying to break the clinch but Boucher is controlling him.
Boucher tries to pull guard but Sanders holds him up against the cage and eventually Boucher drops back down to his feet.

Sanders breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Boucher tries to score a power double leg takedown but Sanders sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Boucher somewhat.
Sanders connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Boucher's hands.
A looping hook to the body misses from Sanders. Boucher does a little dance to reset his feet.

Boucher takes the fight into the clinch.
Boucher prevents a body shot from Sanders.

Sanders's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Boucher moves out of range as Sanders strikes.
Sanders throws a jab when Boucher was well out of range.

Boucher pushes Sanders up against the cage in a clinch.

Sanders tries to circle away but Boucher has him pinned against the cage.
Sanders is trying to break free.
Boucher tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.

Sanders manages to break the clinch.
Sanders on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot.

Boucher rushes Sanders and presses him up against the cage.
Sanders struggles to land a body shot inside as Boucher controls his hands.
Sanders digs a right hand underneath Boucher's ribcage. Boucher let out a lung full of air as it connected.

Boucher jumps guard and drags Sanders to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.
Sanders trying to stand up but can't free himself from Boucher's guard.
Sanders knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Boucher on the ground.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Sanders trying desperately to get back to his feet here but he's not having any joy at all. He's going to tire himself out if he's not careful.

A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Boucher holds on and takes a little breather.

The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet.
Seth Sanders seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Sanders throws a body shot but no joy.
Boucher shoots in for a takedown but Sanders shows good takedown defense.
Boucher uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Sanders.

Boucher avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Boucher appeared to try and counter that last move with a leg kick.
Boucher darts in looking for a takedown but Sanders gets double underhooks and turns Boucher into the cage.

Sanders looks to score with a jab to the body but Boucher is just out of range.

That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.


Sanders wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Sanders is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Boucher can do to turn this around?
Sanders throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.

Boucher changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Sanders looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Sanders tries to get back to his feet but has found himself mounted instead. Damn, that's gotta suck.

Poor strikes thrown by Boucher there. More accuracy and less frantic strikes would help!

Sanders takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position.

Boucher is looking to secure an arm. He's managed it! He's pivoting for an armbar - that looks tight! But Sanders has managed to get out of it and now he's in a dominant position. Nice work from Sanders!
Sanders would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.

Boucher scrambles and gets back to his feet.

Boucher is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Sanders's half guard.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

A head kick misses from Boucher.
Boucher gets cracked there but stands up to it.
Bobby Boucher is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Sanders enables Boucher to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Sanders manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.
Boucher stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Sanders swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Sanders can't keep his opponent in guard - Boucher advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.

The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Boucher changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Sanders tries to avoid it but Boucher manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Sanders to the ground. Sanders escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Sanders scores with a jab. Boucher acknowledges it with a nod of the head.
Seth Sanders is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Sanders fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Boucher manages to avoid it.

Boucher rushes Sanders and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.

Bobby Boucher comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I think Boucher has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
