The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tyson looks to land a combination. Marena sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.
Tyson throws a head kick that half lands.
Tyson swinging wildly here.
Tyson avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Marena looks for a takedown but Tyson sprawls well.
Tyson works over Marena's head and body with a nice combination.
Tyson swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Marena steps in looking to counter with the mid kick but it doesn't connect.
Marena moves in looking to clinch but Tyson pushes him off.
Tyson keeps the fight on the outside.
Max Tyson seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Tyson throws a nice outside leg kick.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Tyson rushes Marena and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
With the fighters clinched against the cage, Tyson creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.

Tyson breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.

Tyson gets in close and instigates a clinch.

Marena jumps into guard, dragging Tyson to the mat.
Tyson has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Marena is proving hard to escape from.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Marena controls Tyson momentarily but Tyson frees himself.
Tyson wants to stand and escape but instead Marena has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard.

Marena passes Tyson's left leg - he's now in half guard.

Tyson is refusing to be controlled, as Marena sits in half guard.

Tyson is pushing off trying to get to his feet. Marena has hold of the leg though and he's dropped back for a heel hook… has he got it?? YES! Tyson is tapping! This fight is all over!
