Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Pete Chester!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Aki Sof!
The judges for this bout are Paulsen Ambrosius, Aafke Stam and Patrick Alders.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Chester with a nice cross.
Chester lunges at Sof with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Sof's hand.
Sof fails with a takedown attempt.
Chester swings for the body but Sof moves out of range.
Sof slips under a jab.
Sof shoots in looking for a takedown but Chester manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Sof's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Nice jab there from Chester.
A looping hook to the body misses from Chester. Sof does a little dance to reset his feet.
Sof changes levels for a counter takedown but doesn't follow through with his attempt.
Sof avoids a punch combination nicely.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Sof uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Chester.
Sof fails with the takedown
enabling Chester to counter with a crisp jab.
Pete Chester has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Aki Sof.
Sof gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Sof takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Sof tries for a takedown but Chester sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Chester throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Sof sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Sof dives in and grabs Chester's left leg, looking for a takedown. Chester pushes down on Sof's head and hops out.
Sof with a lazy takedown attempt
and Chester counters with a straight right hand.
Chester misses with a jab, cross combination.
Chester throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
A punch lands to the side of Sof 's head but he takes it in his stride.
Sof shoots in for a takedown but Chester shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Sof looks winded!
Sof takes one on the chin but seems OK.
Sof changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Chester tries to avoid it but Sof manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Chester to the ground. Chester escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Sof avoids a punch combination nicely.
Sof shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Chester as he avoids it easily.
Nice sprawl there from Chester as Sof shoots in.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Chester connects with a looping right hand.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Nice body punch from Chester.
Chester connects with a jab and follows up with a big overhand right! Oh that's hurt Sof! He's out on his feet! Chester rushes in and drops Sof with another big right hand, forcing the referee to stop the fight!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:17 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Pete Chester!
