PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Yormomza Built (ranked 853 p4p, 122 weight class) and Shoei Braz (ranked 880 p4p, 123 weight class). Built comes into the arena with Back That Azz Up blaring out of the sound system. There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 37 - 27 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Shoei Braz!
The judges for this bout are James Glass, Daniel Bishop and Andrew Berry.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Braz shoots in looking for a takedown. Built tries to sprawl out of it but Braz keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Built manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Braz shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Built pinned against the cage. Built gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Built is trying to close the distance and clinch up, after that failed offence from Braz.
Braz shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Built defends it nicely.
It looked like Built wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.
Yormomza Built has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Shoei Braz.
Braz dives in and grabs Built's left leg, looking for a takedown. Built pushes down on Braz's head and hops out.
Built looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Built stuffs the takedown.
Built went nuts there looking for a big combo counter but none of the flurry connected.

Built rushes Braz and presses him up against the cage.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Built breaks the clinch.
Braz throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Built's waist but Built gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Braz off to one side.

Braz shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Built as he avoids it easily.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Built lands a nice hook to Braz's body. Braz takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.

Braz walks straight into a right hand from Built - that's dropped him! Built jumps into mount and starts pounding away - can he finish?! More strikes go undefended and the referee has to dive in to save Braz from any more punishment! Braz complains about the stoppage but falls over as he tries to stand back up, so it was clearly a good stoppage.
