Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jeremy Jones (ranked 367 p4p, 52 weight class) and Stephan Letter (ranked 618 p4p, 92 weight class). Jeremy Jones has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
15 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Jeremy Jones! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
20 - 12 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Stephan Letter! The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, Timothy Bukovac and Don Winkell.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Letter is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Letter keeps Jones at a distance using the push kick. Jones swings widly with a right hand
and Letter counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. The fighters circling - Jones throws out the jab but it was never going to land. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Donk. Jones catches Letter right on the button with a cross. Jones scores with a nice strike.
It looks like Stephan Letter has been cut.
That's one minute gone in the round. Jones on the wrong end of a nice hook. Letter misses with a head kick.
Jones swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Letter counters with a straight right hand. Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world. Letter on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Jones. Jones obviously looking to wear him down.
Jones tries a low kick but Letter avoids it. Letter wants to counter with a clinch but Jones pushes him away. Letter tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Jones was well out of range. Poor timing from Letter. Jones thuds his right hand into Letter's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Letter throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Jones drops Letter with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Letter looks back up at him and smiles so Jones waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! A slapping body kick lands there for Jones. Jones avoids the head kick by Letter.
Jones misses with a hook to the body
and Letter cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. Jones ducks down and throws a hook to the body. Letter moves out of range as Jones throws a body kick.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Jones lands with a nice body punch. Jones swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Letter throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Jones's head. Jones lands a really nice looking cross but Letter seems unphased.
Jones misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Letter.
Letter looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it. Jones throws a lazy uppercut
and Letter counters with a head kick that drops Jones to the mat! Jones scrambles across the canvas and gets back to his feet, still wobbly! Letter catches Jones with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!
That's four minutes gone in the round. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Jones throws a body shot but no joy. Letter now looks to counter with a shot at the body. Jones throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Jones works the jab nicely. Letter pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Jones slips under a jab from Letter. A telegraphed right hand from Letter misses the target. Jones throws a leg kick but Letter sees it coming and moves out of range. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Jeremy Jones will probably get the nod. The cut man is working on Stephan Letter's cut. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.

The judges will like that one. Jones looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight. Letter takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor. Jeremy Jones is winning the standup battle so far. Letter throws a jab when Jones was well out of range. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Letter slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range. Letter blocks a head kick by Jones.
That's one minute gone in the round. Letter throws a right hand that misses
enabling Jones to counter with a crisp jab. Jones throws a front kick aimed at Letter's knee but Letter avoids it well. Jones keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Letter. Jones throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Letter sees it coming and avoids it easily. Letter throws a fast counter high kick but Jones manages to duck under it in time. Letter gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Jones.
Letter is rocked! A telegraphed right hand from Jones misses the target. Letter is loading up here, looking for a big counter of his own. Both these guys seem content to just stand up and trade with eachother but Letter might want to think about changing up his gameplan a bit because over the course of the fight, Jones has got the better of the exchanges. Jones throws a poor cross that misses
and Letter counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. Letter moves into range and connects with a jab.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Letter tries a head kick but it misses.
Jones throws a right hand that Letter ducks under and follows up with a left that Letter also avoids with ease. Letter steps in looking to clinch after the strikes miss from Jones. Letter tries to clinch up but Jones circles away and keeps his distance. Letter throws a lazy right hand but Jones sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. Jones swings widly with a right hand
and Letter cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. Letter's coach down at Zero Tolerance was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Letter's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Letter keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Jones throws a sloppy head kick letting Letter counter with a right hand. A left lands for Jones. Jones jabs Letter to the body, keeping him at a distance. Letter throws a shot from downtown. Jones moves away and avoids it. A little feinted left hand from Jones on the counter but he doesn't commit to it. Jones rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Letter counters with a stiff right hand. Jones misses with an uppercut. Letter raises up his leg as if looking to counter with a high kick. The fighters circling - Jones throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A big left from Letter misses. Letter drops Jones with a beautiful combination! Jones stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Letter is looking for the KO! Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Jones avoids a lazy jab quite easily. Jones buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Oooooh!!! Letter has knocked Jones down with a huge combo! Letter steps away and waves a wobbly Jones back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!
Jones is rocked! Jones takes a swing at Letter's ribcage but misses. Letter shapes to counter with a head kick. Letter thuds his shin into the meat of Jones's side. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Stephan Letter showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The cut man is working on Stephan Letter's cut. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.

A good leg kick by Jones. Jones smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button. Jones avoids the body shot from Letter.
Jones lifts his leg as if looking to counter with a high kick. Jones lands a big uppercut and Letter crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Letter looks OK. Jones waves Letter back to his feet! Letter is still on wobbly legs! Can Jones finish him? This has been an exciting period of action! Jones waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Letter. Letter seems to have recovered his senses. Jones pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way. Letter replies with a solid counter kick to the body but Jones blocks it well.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Jones looks to land a right hand but Letter moved out of range. Jones fakes a jab and scores with a low kick. Jones takes one on the button. Jones misses with a lunging right hand
and Letter cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. Look low, kick high! Jones uses the oldest trick in the book to send Letter tumbling to the canvas, in a truly brutal knockout! Jones is absolutely delighted - when Letter wakes up, I doubt he'll be quite so happy!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:46 of round 3, we have a winner by way of KO (Head Kick). Jeremy Jones! Jeremy Jones was full of energy after the big win and talked about how he thinks he can do big things in this sport. The crowd were appreciative of his determination to succeed.
