And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nikolas jabs. That one connects to the head of his opponent.

Ogre manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Nikolas on his heels. He'll look to pass Nikolas's guard now, I'm sure.
Ogre wants to control from the top but Nikolas keeps moving.
Ogre stands up over Nikolas, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Ogre trying to control the position from guard on top but Nikolas is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Nikolas can do anything to dispel that myth.
Nikolas striking off his back but it's not causing Ogre any problems.
Ogre trying to control but Nikolas is working from the bottom.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Ogre seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Ogre passes easily into side control. Nice work.

Ogre decides to stand back up. Ogre steps back and let's Nikolas get back to his feet.
Nikolas connects with a crisp jab.
Nikolas lands a two punch combo.
Nikolas throws a shot to the body.
Ogre takes a shot right to the bread basket.
Nikolas paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.
Danga de danga de dang - Nikolas scores with a four punch combination!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Ogre walks into a stiff left hand from Nikolas.
Pierre Nikolas is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Nikolas feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Ogres jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!
Ogre throws a head kick that misses
and Nikolas counters with a lovely straight right hand!

Ogre is rocked!

Nikolas thuds a left hand into Ogre's body.
Nikolas cracks Ogre with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.
Oh Ogre is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Nikolas walks forward and throws a big overhand right! Ogre drops to the floor like a sack of potatoes! Nikolas swarms on him with more punches until the referee wrestles him away from Ogre's unconscious body! Wow, that was brutal!
