Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Randi Orto (ranked 4483 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jaylan Trice (ranked 4551 p4p, 227 weight class). Trice has chosen Kevin way down we go as his entrance music. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, Don Winkell and Timothy Bukovac.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Orto looks to land a body kick but Trice moved away.
Trice has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Orto .
Trice avoids the body shot from Orto .
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Trice is defended easily by Orto .
Orto is looking to counter punch.

Trice takes the fight into the clinch.
Orto blocks a punch to the side of the head.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Trice jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Orto walks away with a smile on his face. Trice gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
Trice takes a head kick and shrugs it off.

It looks like Jaylan Trice has been cut.

Trice clinches up against the cage.

Trice looking to throw knees to the head but Orto is blocking nicely.
Trice drops down looking for an ankle pick but Orto pulls his leg out and moves away.
Randi Orto has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jaylan Trice.

Trice rushes Orto and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Trice has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Orto after a bit of a struggle.
The fighters are pressed against the cage, as the pace of the fight slows.
Trice is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Orto to keep the fight standing.
Trice wants to break the clinch but can't.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Orto gets underhooks to prevent Trice's takedown attempt.
Orto is trying to slow down the pace in the clinch, to catch his breath.
Trice fails to pull guard.
Trice can't get the takedown.

Trice manages to break the clinch.
Orto throws a leg kick but Trice moved away.
Orto tries to score with a leg kick but it misses it's target.
Trice tries a counter takedown but it's more of a dummy move, and he uses it to push himself away.

Orto misses with a kick to the body.
Trice throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Orto throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Good standup being displayed there by Orto as he connects with a hook.
Trice blocks a low kick nicely.
Nice takedown defense from Orto . No joy for Trice on that attempt.
A jab from Orto finds it's way through Trice's defenses.
Thud! ouch! good body kick from Orto - that will leave a mark!
Trice looks winded!
Orto chopping away at his opponent's legs.
Orto motions for Trice to come forward. Orto throws a leg kick but it misses it's target.
Trice tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Trice shoots in looking for a takedown but Orto manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Trice's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
A nice inside leg kick there by Orto . That's going to slow Trice down.
Orto feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Trice's calf.
Orto looking to land some kicks to the body here.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Orto displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Trice.
Orto jinks towards his opponent looking like he wants to counter with a mid kick but doesn't commit.

Oooooh!!! Orto has knocked Trice down with a huge combo! Orto steps away and waves a wobbly Trice back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!

Trice is rocked!
Crack! A monster head kick from Orto and Trice falls like a tree - timbeeeeeeeeeeerrrr! A highlight reel knockout by Orto !
