Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Allen Kimura (ranked 4467 p4p, 0 weight class) and Billy Donovan (ranked 4509 p4p, 414 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, Jack Bonds and Timothy Bukovac.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Kimura closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Kimura lands in his opponent's guard.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.
Kimura shoots for a takedown but Donovan saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Kimura tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Donovan manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Donovan is definitely looking for the counter takedowns here.

Donovan fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Kimura sprawls well initially but Donovan persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
Kimura wants to improve his position but Donovan is controlling well.

Donovan is nestled in close to Kimura, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.

Billy Donovan comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Donovan has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
