Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Thar Ali (ranked 4764 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rikishi Meatball (ranked 4512 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Thar Ali! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Rikishi Meatball! The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, Jack Bonds and Don Winkell.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Meatball dives in and scores a takedown into Ali's guard. Ali lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Ali postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Ali got a little sloppy there for a moment and Meatball has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Ali has managed to get both his arms back between Meatball's legs - danger averted. Ali drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Meatball manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Ali has Meatball in his guard. Ali wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Ali continues to stall.
That's one minute gone in the round. Ali looking to hit a scissor sweep but Meatball is one step ahead there. Ali is adopting a defensive guard. Ali lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard.
Ali drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Ali jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Meatball is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. Ali working some strikes from top position. Ali with a flurry of punches that miss. Ali is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long. Ali lands a couple of elbows. Meatball wants to sweep but no luck. Ali throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Meatball works some decent striking defense from the bottom. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Ali slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up. Ali will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Meatball is trying to control the position but Ali postures up.
The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity. A head kick by Ali misses and Meatball counters with a three punch combo that has Ali backing up. Ali nods at Meatball to acknowledge the strikes. Meatball gets a double leg takedown into Ali's guard. Meatball being controlled here momentarily.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Meatball stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Ali swivels though and keeps the full guard. Ali has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Rikishi Meatball dominated that round. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.

Ali avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Ali gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard. Meatball trying to pass the guard. He's being very persistent here but Ali manages to land a sweep and now he's on top! Ali postures up in Meatball's guard and throws a big left but Meatball blocks it. Ali tries to free his leg and advance position but Meatball is retaining full guard. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Meatball manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Ali manages to get himself to full guard.
Ali has his hands on Meatball's head, controlling the position. Meatball wants to stand but Ali is controlling his posture from full guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Meatball trying to control the position from guard on top but Ali is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Ali could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely. Ali is controlling Meatball's posture. Ali keeping moving, preventing Meatball from controlling successfully.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Ali wants to sweep but no luck. Ali bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Meatball's guard. Meatball is trying to control the position but Ali postures up. Ali not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up. Ali is working Meatball over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Ali working from the guard for now, landing some ground and pound. Ali controls the pace of the fight for a moment.
The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet. Ali shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Ali looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding. Meatball trying to hold on to Ali's head to control him but Ali postures up.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Ali works his foot free and advances to mount. Meatball has left one of his arms exposed and Ali doesn't need a second invitation. He's isolated it and locked on a tight armbar. Meatball screams and taps out, obviously in a lot of pain. Hopefully there isn't permanent damage to that arm.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:41 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Armbar). Thar Ali!
