Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Pistol Pete (ranked 2567 p4p, 0 weight class) and Lucas Gallent (ranked 6511 p4p, 0 weight class). The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, and Don Winkell.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pete displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Gallent.
Gallent looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Pete really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Gallent wants to clinch up but Pete keeps it at a distance.
Gallent scores with a nice head shot.
Pete connects with the punch.
Gallent throws an off balance right hand
letting Pete counter with a right hand.
Gallent tries to clinch there but Pete circles away.
An attempted straight right counter from Pete misses the target.
Pete looks to throw the jab but Gallent is out of range.
Gallent shoots in and drives through. Pete sprawls well.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Gallent fails with a takedown attempt.
Pistol Pete has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Lucas Gallent.
Gallent misses with a takedown attempt
and Pete counters with a nice uppercut.
Pete stuns Gallent with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
Pistol Pete is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Pete cracks Gallent with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Pete has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Gallent to stand back up!
Gallent gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Pete connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Gallent looks winded!
Gallent tries to clinch but Pete moves away

and Pete counters with a nice right hand that sends Gallent toppling to the canvas! Gallent scrambles and gets back to his feet - can Pete finish him?!

Gallent is rocked!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Gallent doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Pete counters with a right hand from hell and Gallent is out cold! A vicious knockout!
