Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Matt Lethal (ranked 1028 p4p, 131 weight class) and Blue Cup (ranked 773 p4p, 103 weight class). Lethal comes to the cage accompanied by we're off to see the wizard. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cup tries to clinch there but Lethal circles away.
Cup blocks a head kick by Lethal.
A telegraphed right hand from Cup misses the target.
Lethal is looking to counter with head kicks.
Cup throws an overhand right that lands on Lethal's shoulder, as Lethal tries to avoid the shot.
Lethal looks to score with a jab to the body but Cup is just out of range.
Lethal misses with a head kick.
Cup throws a sloppy head kick and Lethal moves out of range easily.
Cup walks into a left hand.
Lethal misses with an uppercut. Cup saw that one coming.
Cup throws a shot from downtown. Lethal moves away and avoids it.
Cup throws a right and a left that Lethal avoids nicely.
Lethal ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Lethal tried to counter with a leg kick but Cup avoided it.
Cup looks to land a left hand but Lethal moved out of range nicely.
And Lethal counters with a quick kick to the body but Cup blocks it.
Lethal is looking to slow Cup down with leg kicks.
Cup tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Cup pushes Lethal up against the cage in a clinch.
Lethal misses with a hook to the ribs.
Cup is looking to take this one to the mat.

Cup misses with some punches.
Our sources have told us that Lethal has been working on his knees in the buildup to the fight.
Cup escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

Lethal lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.
Cup tries to check a leg kick but that clearly hurt him.
Lethal walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Cup checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.
Cup throws a big shot that misses.
Lethal with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
Cup throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Lethal on the side of the head.
Lethal slips under a jab.
Cup throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Cup misses with a looping left.
Blue Cup seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Lethal connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.

Lethal walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
Lethal throws a leg kick which misses Cup's front leg but catches the back leg as Cup tries to avoid it.
Cup fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Lethal manages to avoid it.

Lethal uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Cup.

Cup throws out a loose jab but Lethal uses good head movement to avoid it.
A slow jab from Lethal misses its intended target.
Good work by Cup as he checks the leg kick.

Cup scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.
Cup chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Lethal can pounce on him.

Lethal swats away the attempt to clinch by Cup.
Lethal is looking to counter with a shot to the body.
Cup tests Lethal's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Cup pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
Cup lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.
Jab, jab by Lethal - just one landing.
Cup works over Lethal's head and body with a nice combination.
Lethal avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Cup swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Cup throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Good leg kick by Lethal there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Cup throws a hook but Lethal blocks it.
Lethal lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Cup misses with a few strikes there.
Lethal cracks Cup with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.
It looks like Blue Cup has been cut.
Lethal moves out of range as Cup strikes.
A jab from Cup does it's job there.
That's four minutes gone in the round.
Cup lands with an uppercut that bounces Lethal off the cage and back into range.
Cup slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.
Cup might want to mix his strikes up a bit more. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable.
Cup checks a low kick from Lethal.
Cup takes one to the chin there.
Cup is rocked!
Lethal lands an uppercut, right on the button! Cup tumbles backwards into the cage, staring vacantly into space! He's got no idea where he is, who he is or what day it is... Poor guy.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:21 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Matt Lethal!
Our winner, Matt Lethal, made sure he spent some time buttering up the crowd during his post fight interview, which will no doubt bring him a few more fans.
In defeat, Blue Cup stepped up to the mic, saying 'That wasn't fun.'.
