The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McCombs shoots in looking for a takedown but Marques manages to keep the fight standing, pushing McCombs's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Nae McCombs seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
McCombs darts in looking for a takedown but Marques gets double underhooks and turns McCombs into the cage.

Marques manages to get an easy takedown there - catching McCombs on his heels. He'll look to pass McCombs's guard now, I'm sure.
Marques seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.

McCombs has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Marques is working away from the top position though.
McCombs is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Marques scores with a couple of nice shots.

Marques lands a big elbow - McCombs is out of it! He's waving his arms around but his eyes are closed and he's not intelligently defending himself - the ref has no choice but to jump in and stop the fight! This one is in the books! A TKO win for Marques!
