Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Louis Lutz (ranked 24241 p4p, 446 weight class) and Sandy Jones (ranked 6281 p4p, 425 weight class). Jones has chosen Can't leave without it as his entrance music. Man, I cannot wait for this one!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Jones bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Lutz manages to work his way to half guard, despite Jones's best efforts.

Lutz tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Lutz has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
A bit of a lull in the action. I'm sure it will pick up again soon... even if the ref has to physically pick them up and put them back on their feet.

Lutz has managed to escape just enough to sneak back to his feet but Jones is on him like a limpet, forcing Lutz back against the cage.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

As Jones looks to move away, Lutz throws a big counter combo but Jones just gets out of the way.

Jones has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Lutz clear over his head and slammed him to the mat!

We've been hearing good reports from Lutz's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Lutz, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
