Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Herlock Von Ryan (ranked 905 p4p, 120 weight class) and Pupp Eye (ranked 1193 p4p, 161 weight class). Von Ryan comes to the cage accompanied by The Crystal Method - Play For Real (Dirtyphonics Remix). Pupp Eye told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

The judges for this bout are John Roberts, John Kavanagh and Joseph Jones.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
We've got one fighter who appears to only be looking to counter and the other not looking particularly aggressive either, so we could be in for a dull fight.
Eye connects with a good right hand that stumbles Von Ryan. Von Ryan circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
We've been hearing reports that Von Ryan has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight.
Von Ryan steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Eye.

Eye has been working on his striking defense in training and it's paying off as Von Ryan is landing a low percentage of strikes.

Eye is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Von Ryan.

It looked like Von Ryan was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit.

Von Ryan throws a hook to the body. More of an arm punch but it's all scoring with the judges.

Eye wants to control from the top but Von Ryan keeps moving.

Eye is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but Von Ryan has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. Eye is looking to defend but Von Ryan has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Eye! Von Ryan pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Eye taps out and this one is all over!
