Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Doko Dokov (ranked 2967 p4p, 341 weight class) and Billy Brown (ranked 1272 p4p, 163 weight class). Brown has chosen CCR - Bad Moon Rising as his entrance music. The key to victory for Doko Dokov has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Brown connects with a crisp jab.
Dokov fails in his attempt to clinch.
Dokov tries to clinch there but Brown circles away.
Despite the aggression on Brown's face he doesn't fully commit to the counter.

The fight moves into the clinch position.
Dokov lands an uppercut.
Brown working some nice short punches in the clinch.
A right handed body shot lands from Brown.
A head punch on the inside from Brown fails to land.
Dokov is trying to stall.

Brown jumps guard.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Brown is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Dokov defends well.

Brown is looking for a sweep. Dokov is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.

Dokov is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Brown is just riding it out for now. Dokov eventually gives up the hold.

We've been hearing good reports from Dokov's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today.

Brown just misses with a punch to the body.
Dokov appears to be looking for a big counter.
Brown throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Dokov sees it coming and avoids it easily.

Brown gets tackled into the cage by Dokov. Dokov maintains the clinch.
Brown struggles to land a body shot inside as Dokov controls his hands.

Brown manages to break the clinch.

Brown throws a lazy right hand but Dokov sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Dokov takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Dokov goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.
Brown misses with a hook. Dokov ducked under it nicely.

Dokov blocks a body shot from Brown.

Brown lands a takedown into guard.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Dokov isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Brown stacks Dokov on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Brown!

Brown is working for what looks like an arm triangle here. Dokov is trying to escape and Brown transitions quickly into an armbar! He's slapped it on tight and Dokov is forced to tap! Nice work there by Brown! Very nice indeed!
