A looping hook to the body misses from Saric. Cobb does a little dance to reset his feet.
Cobb was looking to counter that last move with a shot to the body but he didn't commit.
Cobb has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Zimmer Babies in the buildup to the fight.

Saric flicks out a counter leg kick but Cobb steps away.

That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Cobb crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Saric - the referee stops the clock and Cobb gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Saric. Cobb manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.

Cobb tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Saric paws at him with a jab and circles away.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Saric throws a solid leg kick but Cobb takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Saric.

Cobb takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
A chopping leg kick lands by Cobb.
Cobb bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Saric's head backwards.
Cobb throws a hard body shot but it just misses.

Cobb swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Cobb lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Saric has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Saric and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.
Cobb takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.

Cobb is really struggling to find his range with his punches. Saric's reach advantage is clearly causing him problems.

Cobb lands with a hook. Saric tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.

The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Saric misses the shot to the body.
Saric lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Saric has used his reach advantage pretty well so far tonight.
Saric takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.
We've been informed that Saric has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result.

Saric drops Cobb with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Cobb looks back up at him and smiles so Saric waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.

and Saric counters with a crisp right hand that drops Cobb! Saric lets Cobb back up to his feet, looking for a finish!
Oh Cobb is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Saric moves out of range of the body kick from Cobb.
Cobb seems to have got his legs back now.

Saric gets in close and tags Cobb with a short punch that almost sends Cobb to the mat! Oh Cobb is in big trouble! He turns his back on Saric, trying to create some distance but Saric rushes him, striking wildly and Cobb goes down! The referee tackles Saric into the cage to end the fight! Saric is one violent man!
