Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are , Timothy Bukovac and Frank Antenori.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A solid leg kick lands there for Marques.
Juan Marques seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Marques misses with a head kick.
Marques throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Marques takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.
Marques throws a head kick that misses.
Marques throws a chopping leg kick but Nikolas manages to avoid taking any serious damage.
Marques takes one on the button.
A left and a right from Nikolas both land. Nice combination.
Marques takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Nice shot lands for Nikolas.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Marques drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.
The fight moves into the clinch position.
Marques just leaning against Nikolas, taking a breather.
Marques jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Nikolas walks away with a smile on his face. Marques gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
Nikolas throws a good cross that connects.
Nikolas scores to the head and body with a nice combination!
Marques showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Nikolas.
Nikolas tries to bum rush Marques with a series of wild strikes but Marques uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Marques tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Nikolas paws at him with a jab and circles away.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Marques misses with a head kick.
Nikolas blocks a head kick by Marques.
Nikolas lands a slapping body shot.
A nice combination there by Nikolas.
Marques takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Nikolas avoids the head kick by Marques.
Good exchange - Nikolas coming out on top.
Nikolas ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
Nikolas blocks a head kick by Marques.
Marques tries to clinch there but Nikolas circles away.
Nikolas lands a nice shot to the body.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Marques takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
Nikolas connects with a right hand. Marques shakes it off.
Nikolas lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.
Marques closes the distance and clinches.
Nikolas breaks from the clinch.
Nikolas throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Marques stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Nikolas is landing a lot of head punches in this opening round! Marques had better start moving his head a bit unless he wants his face to turn into pâté.
Marques needs to keep his hands up - Nikolas had a free shot at his head there.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Marques tries to move into range but Nikolas moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.
Nikolas's corner calls for a 1-2. Nikolas obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.
Marques throws a body kick but he was well out of range there.
Nikolas wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Nikolas moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination.
Marques is rocked!
Marques gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Nikolas.
Oh Marques is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Nikolas cracks Marques with a big right hand that sees him stumbling back against the cage! Marques falls to his knees and Nikolas doesn't need a second invitatation - he rushes in and fires off several unanswered shots that force the referee to stop the fight! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:26 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Pierre Nikolas!
