Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between At las (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dog Catcher (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters really staring eachother down here, as Dog Catcher enters the cage!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, At las!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Dog Catcher!
The judges for this bout are Gregory Folan, Robert Douchet and Yves DeLean.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Catcher will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Catcher scores with a jab to the body.
Catcher shoots for a double leg takedown but las sprawls well. He's pushed Catcher's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
las really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Catcher closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
las regains full guard. Nicely done.

las is looking for a triangle but Catcher pushes his legs off easily.
Catcher trying to control but las is working from the bottom.
Catcher is looking to work some ground and pound but las has wrist control.
las keeping moving, preventing Catcher from controlling successfully.
las tries to land a sweep but no joy.
Catcher wants to control from the top but las keeps moving.

las is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
Catcher chips away with some ground and pound.

Catcher trying to control the position from guard on top but las is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Catcher content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
las looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
Catcher lands a couple of decent looking shots.

las has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Catcher can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
las is breathing heavily.
las being controlled here, momentarily.
Catcher's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.

Catcher lands a couple of elbows.
las keeping full guard, as Catcher tries to pass.

Catcher chips away with some ground and pound.
Catcher trying to control but las is working from the bottom.
las is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

las looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.

las stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Catcher swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Catcher controls las momentarily but las frees himself.
Catcher looking to hit a scissor sweep but las is one step ahead there.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Catcher works over las's head and body with a nice combination.
las shoots in for a takedown but Catcher shows good takedown defense.

las scores a takedown into full mount!
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!

Catcher wants to control but las is keeping busy.

Catcher is defending against the submission attempts here by las.
las passes the guard and advances to mount!
Catcher slips a leg in and gets back to half guard.
Catcher trying to hold on to las's head to control him but las postures up.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

las is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Catcher sees it coming and defends easily.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Dog Catcher dominated that round.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.


Catcher lands a slapping body shot.
A jab from Catcher does it's job there.
las has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Catcher finds it's way round the side to connect with las's head.
Catcher swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Catcher throws a shot to the body.
At las is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Catcher moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.

Catcher has taken the fight to the clinch.
las tries for a takedown but Catcher manages to get underhooks.
las gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Catcher.
las is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though.

Catcher manages to break the clinch.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Catcher scores with a takedown into las's guard.

Catcher wants to control from the top but las keeps moving.
Catcher working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of las's head.
Catcher slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.

las looking to hit a scissor sweep but Catcher is one step ahead there.

las throws his legs up looking to secure a triangle. Oh, that looks pretty tight, I gotta say! Catcher escapes and throws las's legs to the side, diving into side control!
las on the wrong end of some ground and pound.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Catcher is working las over with some ground and pound from side control.
las is trying to improve his position.
Catcher lands some shots froms side control.

las is working to avoid the ground and pound but Catcher connects with a decent elbow.
las is looking to reverse the position.

las takes a big shot right to the temple there but he's taken it well.
las is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard.
las tries to roll over but Catcher keeps him under control.
Catcher lands with a punch from half guard.

Catcher seems like he's working for an arm triangle here. He's freed his trapped foot and he's rotating nicely. las is in big trouble! He's tapping out! This one is aaaaaaaaaaaall over!
