Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Franck Kodjia (ranked 593 p4p, 26 weight class) and Paul Beecher (ranked 1520 p4p, 64 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Beecher has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.

Beecher is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

As Kodjia backs off Beecher throws a huge counter combo but Kodjia manages to avoid it all.

The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
