The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Khomeini feints and as Royale raises his hands in defense, Khomeini changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
Royale is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
Royale is taking a breather. Khomeini says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.
