Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Mercury Jones (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jordan Parise (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jones comes to the cage accompanied by .. Mercury Jones is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples... Tweaking his own nipples that is.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 6 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Mercury Jones!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Jordan Parise!
The judges for this bout are Gregory Folan, Robert Douchet and Yves DeLean.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jones drops Parise with a right and a left! Jones comes rushing in but Parise regains his composure and manages to keep Jones in guard.

It looks like Jordan Parise has been cut.

Parise throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.

Jones drops back looking for a leg! Parise is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Parise manages to kick Jones off! Jones jumps back into Parise's guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Jones is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
Jones won't allow Parise to sweep him here.
Parise looks gassed!
Jones trying to control the position from guard on top but Parise is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Jones scoring with punches to the head and body.
Parise working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Jones.

Jones is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.

Jones drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Jones jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.
Jones will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Jones fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
No luck for Parise with that takedown attempt.
Jones fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
Jones connects with a crisp jab.
Mercury Jones seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Jones connects with a good right hand that stumbles Parise. Parise circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
Parise drops his hands momentarily and Jones takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.

Parise is rocked!
Both fighters step back and shake their arms out. Jones engages and cracks Parise with a massive lead left hook - Parise tumbles to the floor, out cold! What a shot! Jones is delighted - all that hard work in training paid off!
