Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Stunny Silverston (ranked 4429 p4p, 0 weight class) and Cooter Oneil (ranked 2960 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Stunny Silverston !
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Cooter Oneil!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Robert Twigg and Alan Glass.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Silverston misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Oneil on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot.
Cooter Oneil seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Oneil fails with the takedown.
Silverston swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect.

Oneil closes the distance and clinches.
A head punch on the inside from Oneil fails to land.
Oneil is struggling to control the position.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Silverston manages to break the clinch.
Oneil dives in for a single leg takedown but Silverston sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.
Oneil fails with the takedown.
Stunny Silverston has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Cooter Oneil.

That's one minute gone in the round.

Oneil closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
Silverston wants to get back to his feet but Oneil drags him back down.
Oneil wants to control but Silverston is keeping him busy.

Oneil decides to take the fight back to the feet.

Oneil rushes Silverston and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Oneil wants to break free but Silverston has control.
Oneil is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Silverston displaying some good clinch control by pressing Oneil up against the cage.
Silverston throws an elbow but it's blocked.
Silverston misses with an elbow strike.
Oneil can't break the clinch.
Oneil tries to break free but Silverston pushes him back against the cage.
Silverston gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Oneil.
Oneil looks winded!
Oneil tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Oneil is trying to break free.

Oneil escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Silverston keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Silverston connects with a leg kick. Oneil looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it.
A slapping leg kick lands for Silverston .
Oneil takes a kick to the side of the head.
Silverston fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Silverston looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Oneil changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Silverston tries to avoid it but Oneil manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Silverston to the ground. Silverston escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Oneil gets tackled into the cage by Silverston . Silverston maintains the clinch.

Silverston manages to break the clinch.
Oneil chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Silverston can pounce on him.
Silverston moves away from the strike by Oneil.
Silverston stuns Oneil with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
Silverston scores with a jab.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Silverston uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Oneil has time to react.

Oneil gets caught flat footed, as Silverston shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
Oneil is wriggling around but Silverston manages to pass to half guard.

Silverston tries to pass to full mount but Oneil defends it.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Stunny Silverston dominated that round.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.


Silverston scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.
Oneil tries to close the distance and clinch up but Silverston swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Oneil stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Silverston .
Oneil shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Silverston sprawls well. Silverston wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Oneil gets slowly back to his feet.

Oooooh!!! Silverston has knocked Oneil down with a huge combo! Silverston steps away and waves a wobbly Oneil back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!


Oneil is rocked!


It looks like Cooter Oneil has been cut.
Silverston lands with a right that hurts Oneil. Oneil looks to clinch but Silverston throws a short knee that drops Oneil. This one is all over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:58 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punch and Knee). Stunny Silverston !
