Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
5 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Vince Hollaway!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
5 - 4 - 0, fighting out of London, Henry Wang!
The judges for this bout are Alec Ball, William Peck and Yves DeLean.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wang lands a jab-cross combination.
It looks like Vince Hollaway has been cut.
Hollaway misses with a series of wild punches.
Wang misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Hollaway.
Hollaway seem to be loading up, looking for a big counter.
A head kick from Wang lands but Hollaway takes it in his stride.
Hollaway throws a lazy head kick
and Wang makes the exchange count by landing a cracking kick to the body. Hollaway really felt that one!
Hollaway throws a body punch but Wang moves out of range.
Hollaway fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Wang on the side of the head.
It looks like Henry Wang has been cut.
Hollaway looking to land some kicks to the body here.
Hollaway has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Hollaway there as he acknowledges the shot.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Hollaway misses with a jab, cross combination.
Hollaway digs a good hook to Wang's body.
Wang tries a head kick but it misses.
Hollaway misses with a looping right.
Hollaway waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Wang.
Wang throws a sloppy head kick and Hollaway moves out of range easily.
Hollaway misses with a combination
enabling Wang to counter with a crisp jab.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Hollaway stalks Wang and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Wang's face. Wang staggers backwards, shaken.
A decent looking body kick lands there for Wang.
Wang knocks Hollaway to the floor with a head kick! Can he finish him!?
Hollaway is rocked!
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Hollaway is looking to work his way out of this bad position but Wang is controlling him well.
Oh Hollaway is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Hollaway on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Hollaway tries to get out of the position.
Wang decides to stand up, so the ref orders Hollaway to his feet.
Wang throws a left jab followed by a right to the body, Oh Hollaway colapses and takes a barrage of punches from Wang as he moves to mount! the ref stops the fight and Hollaway is left battered and dazed whilst Wang and his camp cheer!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:28 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Henry Wang!
