Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Trindon Blash (ranked 3896 p4p, 0 weight class) and Yoshi Togata (ranked 4367 p4p, 445 weight class). The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Trindon Blash!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Yoshi Togata!
The judges for this bout are Damien Edna, Ben Hemmingworth and Hugh Johnson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Blash shoots for a takedown but Togata saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Togata tries to keep at a distance but Blash has taken the fight into the clinch.
Blash tightens his grip and picks Togata up, before dumping him to the ground. Togata manages to land in guard.
Togata scrambles and gets back to his feet.
Horrible takedown attempt by Togata or perhaps it was just good defense by Blash, which made it look bad.
Nice sprawl there from Togata as Blash shoots in.
Togata throws the kick towards the body but Blash avoids it.
Blash shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Togata's guard.
Togata wants to get back to his feet but Blash passes into half guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Blash wants to advance to full mount but Togata doesn't think that's going to happen and regains full guard instead.
That's one minute gone in the round.

Blash seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.
Blash scores with a decent looking elbow strike.
Togata looking for a triangle here. Blash is fighting it but it looks tight! Togata pulls the arm across and this one won't last much longer! Nope, Blash is tapping out - this one is all over!
