Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Bina Raga (ranked 2302 p4p, 273 weight class) and Tatu Kurri (ranked 805 p4p, 117 weight class). The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
5 - 6 - 0, fighting out of London, Bina Raga! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
13 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Tatu Kurri! The judges for this bout are Donald Grub, James Ackerman and William Gold.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Raga swings widly with a right hand
and Kurri counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Kurri. Kurri throws a big elbow that misses. Kurri trying to control the position from guard on top but Raga is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Kurri lands a couple of digs. Raga might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Raga is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Raga tries to land a sweep but no joy. Raga manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Kurri manages to get himself to full guard.
Kurri is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
Kurri seems to be working for a kimura but Raga defends the submission attempt. Raga wants to control but Kurri is keeping busy.
That's one minute gone in the round. Kurri looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Raga with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position. Raga tries to get to full guard but Kurri has control of the leg. Kurri is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Raga is just riding it out for now. Kurri eventually gives up the hold. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Kurri looks to score some points with some ground and pound. Raga wants to get back to full guard. Raga trying to control from the bottom.
Raga is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Kurri is looking for a kimura here.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Kurri working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that. The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Kurri controlling the action here. Kurri is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
Raga has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Kurri is working away from the top position though. Raga trying to get back to full guard but Kurri takes advantage of the position and moves to full mount! Kurri with a couple of short strikes.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Kurri goes for an armbar but Raga turns quickly into his guard - lovely anticipation from Raga. Raga trying to control the position from guard on top but Kurri is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Kurri is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Raga throwing strikes but missing. Kurri managing to control the position. Raga working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Kurri's head. Kurri is working actively from the bottom, looking for submissions. He's escaped his hips to the side and he's going for an armbar! Raga has his hands clasped together but Kurri extends and breaks Raga's desperate grasp, forcing a tap out due to armbar! Nice BJJ displayed there by Kurri.
