The judges for this bout are , Timothy Bukovac and Don Winkell.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dance shoots in and gets a takedown into Ramirez's guard.
Dance trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.
Ramirez keeping moving, preventing Dance from controlling successfully.
Dance drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Ramirez dives on top into guard.
Ramirez stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Dance swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Dance looking for a guillotine here but Ramirez defends easily.
Dance is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Ramirez is aware though and is defending well.

Ramirez pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Ramirez closes this distance looking for a takedown but Dance circles away.
Dance uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Ramirez.
Ramirez gets caught napping as Dance dives in and scores a takedown. Ramirez manages to retain guard.
Dance is looking to work some ground and pound but Ramirez has wrist control.
Dance works a leg free and moves into half guard.
Ramirez is trying to control but can't.

Ramirez really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Dance. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
