Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Kevin Sanchez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Doktor Jesus (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Kevin Sanchez! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Doktor Jesus! The judges for this bout are , and Frank Antenori.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Sanchez closes the distance and clinches up with Jesus, looking for a takedown. Sanchez pushes Jesus against the cage but Jesus circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Sanchez scores with a decent looking hook. Sanchez tries to bum rush Jesus with a series of wild strikes but Jesus uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Jesus shoots for a double leg takedown but Sanchez sprawls well. He's pushed Jesus's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Jesus shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Sanchez as he jumps to the side. No joy there for Sanchez, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Sanchez wants to clinch. Sanchez looks to land a combination but Jesus avoids it well. Jesus shoots in but no luck this time. Kevin Sanchez has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Doktor Jesus. Sanchez misses with a takedown attempt and Jesus counters with a single leg into guard. Sanchez didn't expect that. Jesus postures up.
Jesus throws a strike but Sanchez rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top. Jesus looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Jesus trying to strike off his back.
That's one minute gone in the round. Jesus wants to sweep here but Sanchez controlling him for the moment. Sanchez working some strikes from top position. Sanchez throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Jesus works some decent striking defense from the bottom. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Jesus trying to punch from his back but it's not doing any damage. Sanchez wanted to stand there but Jesus had control of the position. Jesus will have to put a bit more behind his punches if he's going to do any damage from this position.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Sanchez lands a lovely overhand right. Jesus misses with a takedown attempt and Sanchez counters with a shoot takedown into half guard. Jesus looks gassed! Jesus is pressing down on Sanchez's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it. Sanchez stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Jesus swivels though and keeps the full guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Sanchez is pushing down on Jesus's leg trying to pass to half guard. Jesus is fighting to maintain full guard but Sanchez has managed to sneak the leg through. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Jesus has hold of Sanchez's hands but Sanchez slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Sanchez wants to stand but Jesus has hold of a leg and an arm, so he's trapped for now. Jesus manages to get to full guard.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Jesus throwing short punches from the bottom. Jesus looking to hit a scissor sweep but Sanchez is one step ahead there. Jesus throws a couple of shots from the bottom but they don't land.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Jesus has a takedown stuffed. Sanchez misses with a takedown attempt and Jesus counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Sanchez! Sanchez swinging wildly from the bottom but he's not landing. Jesus landing strikes, looking to finish! Jesus with a couple of short strikes.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Jesus throwing sloppy strikes, which aren't doing any damage. Sanchez can't escape the position.
Jesus lands a big shot there that rocks Sanchez but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.
Jesus has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Sanchez's face.
Sanchez tries to reverse the position but Jesus maintains control. Jesus landing shots from mount. Jesus prevents Sanchez from getting the reversal. Sanchez manages to regain half guard. Good work. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Sanchez won't allow Jesus to pass to mount. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Kevin Sanchez will probably get the nod. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!
Sanchez scores a takedown into full mount! Sanchez landing shots from mount. Jesus sneaks a leg back under and regains half guard and is working straight away to try and get back to guard. He hasn't managed just yet though. Jesus manages to get to full guard.
Doktor Jesus has got the better of the ground game so far. Jesus trying to strike from the bottom but really, it's not the best position to be doing that from! Sanchez thows a big elbow that misses. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Sanchez looking to sit in guard and control but Jesus gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. Jesus trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.
That's one minute gone in the round. Sanchez looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Sanchez is looking to stand up but Jesus isn't so interested in that idea. Jesus won't allow Sanchez to sweep him here. Jesus lands a couple of digs.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Jesus with a lazy takedown attempt and Sanchez counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt. No luck for Jesus with that takedown attempt. Jesus bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control. Jesus throws an elbow but Sanchez slips to the side and avoids it well. Sanchez is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Jesus has just dragged him back down to the mat.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Jesus scores with a couple of nice shots to the head there. The referee takes a look at Sanchez to see if he's OK. Sanchez wants to escape from the position here - easier said than done! Sanchez is looking for a sweep. Sanchez tries to slip a leg under to move to half guard but Jesus presses down on the leg and jumps into full mount! Jesus lands a nice shot to the head. Sanchez is desperately trying to improve his position but Jesus has a good base and remains in mount. Sanchez is bucking up trying to escape but Jesus cracks him with another couple of good strikes. Sanchez bucks up and manages to get a nice reversal! He's in guard on the top - nicely done!
That's three minutes gone in the round. Sanchez tries to stand but Jesus is controlling from the bottom. Jesus scores with a couple of body punches from the bottom.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Jesus is on top in guard.
Jesus stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Sanchez swivels though and keeps the full guard. Sanchez wants to sweep but no luck. Jesus throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Sanchez is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Sanchez wants to get back to his feet but he's too absorbed in his own little project and Jesus manages to pass to side control. Jesus lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears. Jesus sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Sanchez defending well though. Jesus thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Sanchez's head.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground. Jesus tries for a takedown but Sanchez circles away easily and Sanchez counters with a stiff right hand. Kevin Sanchez has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Doktor Jesus. Sanchez throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Jesus's waist but Jesus gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Sanchez off to one side. Jesus scores a takedown into full mount! And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Doktor Jesus showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. This is the final round!
Jesus fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Sanchez is looking to clinch. Jesus shoots in but no luck this time. Jesus keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Jesus checks a leg kick. Sanchez doesn't manage to clinch there - Jesus circles away.
Sanchez moves into the clinch. Jesus tightens his grip and picks Sanchez up, before dumping him to the ground. Sanchez manages to land in guard. Sanchez is looking to stand up but Jesus isn't so interested in that idea. Jesus scores with a decent looking elbow strike. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Jesus scoring with punches to the head and body. Jesus working from the guard for now, landing some ground and pound. Jesus must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
That's one minute gone in the round. Jesus throws a big right hand that misses. Jesus throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. Jesus working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Jesus accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Sanchez lands a really nice looking cross but Jesus seems unphased.

Jesus lands strikes from half guard. The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Jesus connects with a nice short shot to Sanchez's temple.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Jesus throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage. Jesus is nestled in close to Sanchez, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure. The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Jesus lands a nice short elbow. Sanchez is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Jesus is thwarting Sanchez's attempts to control the position.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground. Jesus tries for a takedown but Sanchez circles away easily and Sanchez counters with a nice double leg into guard. Kevin Sanchez has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Doktor Jesus. Sanchez wants to stand but Jesus has a closed guard, so he can't escape. Sanchez wants to pass the guard but Jesus is keeping the position.

That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Jesus striking off his back but it's not causing Sanchez any problems.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Sanchez tries to clinch but Jesus moves out of range. Sanchez shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. Jesus shoots in and bounces Sanchez off the cage to secure the takedown into guard. Jesus throwing strikes from guard but Sanchez blocks nicely. Sanchez wants to stand and escape but Jesus is having none of it. Sanchez is trying to control the position but Jesus postures up. Jesus keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Sanchez's head.
And that's the end of the fight! I would just about give that final round to Doktor Jesus. I think Jesus has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
