Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, CM Punk!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Rex Williams!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Punk waving his hands out infront of him, looking to distract Williams.

Williams shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Williams was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
Punk holding onto his opponent's waist for dear life, as Williams tries to land some strikes to get him to release his grip.
Williams takes Punk's back, avoiding a couple of desperation strikes from the bottom.
Punk tries to roll but Williams sticks to his back.
Punk rolls and manages to get back to half guard. Nicely done.

Williams is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Punk is just riding it out for now. Williams eventually gives up the hold.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Williams tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Williams has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

Rex Williams showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. This is the final round!

Punk wants to get back to full guard but Williams has passed into side control.

Punk has left one of his arms exposed and Williams doesn't need a second invitation. He's isolated it and locked on a tight armbar. Punk screams and taps out, obviously in a lot of pain. Hopefully there isn't permanent damage to that arm.
