The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Maximus Jr misses with the combination.
Maximus Jr is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot.

Maximus Jr looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
And Togata tries to counter it with a takedown but Maximus Jr pushes his down on his head and steps out.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

and Togata counters with a shoot takedown. Maximus Jr fights it but they end up in guard.
Togata working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.
Maximus Jr utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
Togata is looking to work some ground and pound but Maximus Jr has wrist control.
Togata passes Maximus Jr's left leg - he's now in half guard.
Maximus Jr looks to be in better condition than last time we saw him fight. Obviously he's been working hard on his cardio.
Togata lands with a punch from half guard.
Togata is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position.
Togata perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there.

The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.
Togata lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt.
Togata is nestled in close to Maximus Jr, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.

Togata maintaining the dominant position here and is working for a kimura. He's locked it up! Maximus Jr could be in real trouble here! He's trying to wriggle out but Togata has cracked it and Maximus Jr is screaming in pain - he's tapped out! Great finish by Togata!
