Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, John Lesnar! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 3 - 0, fighting out of New York, Carl Razzzzziiii! The judges for this bout are Reed Andrews, Steve Montenegro and Chad Campbell.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Lesnar throws a sloppy head kick and Razzzzziiii moves out of range easily. Razzzzziiii looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight! Razzzzziiii gets tackled into the cage by Lesnar. Lesnar maintains the clinch. Lesnar prevents a body shot from Razzzzziiii. Razzzzziiii tries to pull guard but Lesnar won't allow it.
Lesnar has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Razzzzziiii clear over his head and slammed him to the mat! Razzzzziiii fending off the submission attempt from Lesnar. Good control from Lesnar. Razzzzziiii trying to control but not successfully.
That's one minute gone in the round. Lesnar is persistently looking for the submission but Razzzzziiii is defending it well.
Lesnar looking for the choke but no joy. What can Razzzzziiii do to escape this position? He's going to have to figure it out pretty quick if he wants to stay in the fight!
Lesnar is looking to finish the fight by rear naked choke. Razzzzziiii knows exactly what he's got planned though, so he's defending well. Maybe a few strikes would soften Razzzzziiii for a finish.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Razzzzziiii is displaying good submission defense - not really looking in danger of submitting to the rear naked choke at the moment. That could change in an instant of course if Lesnar gets his way!
Lesnar controls the action. Lesnar has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent. Lesnar seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Razzzzziiii for as long as he can get away with.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Lesnar is staying calm and holding on to the back position, whilst working on a rear naked choke. Razzzzziiii is defending well though. Lesnar let's go of the attempt for now. Lesnar lands with a big left hand that may well have hurt his opponent. Can Razzzzziiii hold on?!
Lesnar has the hooks in and he's looking for a rear naked choke here. Razzzzziiii is defending well but eventually Lesnar manages to get an arm under the chin and he's locked on the RNC! Razzzzziiii has no choice but to tap now! He does! This one is all over!
