Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Jorge Cassel (ranked 2987 p4p, 342 weight class) and William Shitlord (ranked 2959 p4p, 339 weight class). This should be a great matchup!

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, William Shitlord!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Shitlord throws a nice outside leg kick.
Cassel looks to land a combination but Shitlord avoids it well.
Cassel fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Shitlord lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
Cassel throws a head kick that misses.
Shitlord throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Cassel stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.

Cassel uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Shitlord.

Shitlord is trying to drag Cassel to the mat but Cassel just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.

Shitlord is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Cassel gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt.

Shitlord tries to land a knee to the body but he is off balance and Cassel avoids it.

Shitlord will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Shitlord pushes Cassel back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head.
Cassel is pressed up against the cage. Shitlord has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Cassel down to the mat. Cassel avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
Jorge Cassel has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of William Shitlord.

Cassel is completely out with his eyes open, only supported by the cage! Save him ref! Eventually the ref decides to do his job and jumps in - Shitlord screams abuse at the incompetent official before going over to celebrate with his corner. Brutal stuff!
