Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Iron Shiek (ranked 3150 p4p, 304 weight class) and Big Dog Gracie (ranked 6483 p4p, 433 weight class). Gracie has chosen Gang out as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Iron Shiek!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Big Dog Gracie!
The judges for this bout are Roger Salmon, Chris Saunders and Colin Fray.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gracie scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground.
Shiek won't allow Gracie to pass to mount.
Gracie thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.
Gracie is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Shiek defends it well.
Shiek tries to roll over but Gracie keeps him under control.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Gracie wants to stand but Shiek has hold of a leg and an arm, so he's trapped for now.
Gracie is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Gracie is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Shiek is just riding it out for now. Gracie eventually gives up the hold.
Shiek knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Gracie on the ground.

Gracie is keen to just control but Shiek is a slippery customer.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Gracie is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Shiek is just riding it out for now. Gracie eventually gives up the hold.
Gracie wants to pass the guard but Shiek is defending well.

Gracie is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.

Gracie is looking for a kimura but Shiek is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Gracie to get the leverage.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Gracie seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.

Gracie passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Shiek!
Gracie lands a heavy elbow.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Big Dog Gracie dominated that round.

Gracie shoots in for a takedown. Oh, that's a huge slam! Shiek is on queer street and Gracie is pounding down on him with a barage of strikes. The ref is forced to step in and stop the fight. Great finish!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:05 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Slam). Big Dog Gracie!
In his post fight interview, Big Dog Gracie started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
