Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Max Svensoon (ranked 6137 p4p, 484 weight class) and Henry Gastonbury (ranked 6737 p4p, 503 weight class). Henry Gastonbury is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A head kick misses from Gastonbury.
Svensoon is looking for a counter combo.
Gastonbury looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!
The fight moves into the clinch position.
Svensoon jumps guard but Gastonbury stands there with Svensoon around his waist. Svensoon gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

I was talking to Svensoon's coach per-fight and he was telling me that they'd been working on the clinch in the runup to this fight.
