And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 8 - 3 - 0, fighting out of London, Graham Polliver!
The judges for this bout are Richard Clark, Colin Fotheringham and Donald Grub.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Frye changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Polliver looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

Frye goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Polliver has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Frye but great work by Polliver.
Frye manages to get back to half guard.
Frye is looking to improve his position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Frye is looking to sinch up a gullotine here but Polliver pulls his head out easily.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

It looks like Kaylee Frye has been cut.
Polliver stuffs the takedown attempt from Frye. Frye gets slowly back to his feet.

Frye tries to close the distance and clinch up but Polliver swats him away and circles back towards the center.

Frye will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.

Frye walks into a jab.

Polliver rushes Frye and presses him up against the cage.

Polliver's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Polliver drops Frye with a right and a left! Polliver comes rushing in but Frye regains his composure and manages to keep Polliver in guard.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Frye tries to land a sweep but no joy.
Polliver wants to get up but he can't break Frye's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.

Frye working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Polliver doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Polliver manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
Frye looking to sweep here. No luck so far.

The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
Polliver wants to stand but Frye has a closed guard, so he can't escape.

There's a bit of a scramble here and now Frye is on top in guard.
Fryeis looking to pass into half guard but Polliver pushes him away with his feet and jumps on top - now Polliver is in guard.

Frye fails in his attempt to clinch.
Frye tries a head kick but it misses.
Polliver cracks Frye with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.
Polliver looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Frye shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Polliver as he jumps to the side.
Polliver looks to land a combination. Frye sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.
Polliver lands with a kick to the ribs.
Polliver lands with a right hand.


Kaylee Frye's cut is getting worse.
Polliver throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.

Frye tries to keep at a distance but Polliver has taken the fight into the clinch.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Polliver presses Frye against the cage and delivers a mid-strength body shot.

Polliver escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Polliver throws a right hand that Frye ducks under and follows up with a left that Frye also avoids with ease.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!


Donk. Polliver catches Frye right on the button with a cross.
Frye shoots in looking for a takedown. Polliver tries to sprawl out of it but Frye keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Polliver manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Graham Polliver is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Frye is looking to take this fight into the clinch.

Polliver has managed to clinch.
Frye goes for a takedown attempt but Polliver pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Frye is looking to pass the guard... He's managed it - he's now in full mount!
Frye wants to take Polliver's back but he can't do it this time.

Polliver somehow manages to escape the mount and get back to his feet!

Frye misses with a takedown attempt - Polliver sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Polliver connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
Polliver stalks Frye and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Frye's face. Frye staggers backwards, shaken.

Frye throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Frye is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.

Polliver lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Frye with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Polliver to score with a decent uppercut.

Frye shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Polliver as he avoids it easily.
Polliver dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Polliver has been the more effective fighter overall so far.

Danga de danga de dang - Polliver scores with a four punch combination!
Frye walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
No luck for Frye with that takedown attempt.

Polliver moves into range and clinches up with Frye.
Polliver scores with an uppercut up the middle.

Polliver pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.

Polliver closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.

Polliver's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Graham Polliver is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Frye fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Polliver sprawls well initially but Frye persists and gets the takedown into half guard.

Frye seems to be working for a kimura but Polliver defends the submission attempt.
Polliver gets back to full guard.

Frye drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Polliver manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Frye has Polliver in his guard.
Frye is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Frye looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Polliver wanted to stand there but Frye had control of the position.

Frye had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Polliver is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Frye Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Polliver's back instead.
Polliver tries to escape the position - he's now mounted. Is that better or worse? Hard to tell!

Frye is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Polliver is surviving well by controlling Frye's body position as best he can.

Polliver's corner are shouting for him to stand up but that's bad cornering - how is he meant to stand up when he's mounted? He should be looking to improve his position on the ground before trying to stand back up.
Frye mounts Polliver! Really nice guard pass there!

Frye is looking to secure an arm. He's managed it! He's pivoting for an armbar - that looks tight! But Polliver has managed to get out of it and now he's in a dominant position. Nice work from Polliver!
