And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Frank Dennis, Robert Twigg and Cecil Peabody.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Martinez lands a glancing blow to the side of Cruz's head.
It looks like TJ Cruz has been cut.
A looping hook to the body misses from Martinez. Cruz does a little dance to reset his feet.
Martinez dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Cruz tries to keep at a distance but Martinez has taken the fight into the clinch.
Martinez breaks the clinch.
Martinez fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
Cruz walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
Cruz changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Martinez tries to avoid it but Cruz manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Martinez to the ground. Martinez escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Martinez scores with a jab to the body.
Cruz is breathing heavily.
Martinez fakes a right and follows up with a big left that drops Cruz to one knee - oooooh, he's wobbly! Cruz looks to clinch but Martinez throws him off and pummels him into the canvas! Cruz taps out under the strikes! The fight is over!
