Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Michal Bagietka (ranked 7973 p4p, 629 weight class) and Pasha Pedikov (ranked 24720 p4p, 683 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
5 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Michal Bagietka! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 8 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Pasha Pedikov! The judges for this bout are Seu Braga, Thiago Cunha and Paulo Santos.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Bagietka throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
We've been told by Bagietka's head coaches at Star Studded Beef that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight. Bagietka throws a head kick but Pedikov moves out of range.
The fight moves into the clinch position. Pedikov is trying to pull guard but Bagietka turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch. Bagietka wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
Pedikov is working for takedown but Bagietka is calmly controlling the position for now. Pedikov is trying to trip Bagietka. He has hold of a leg but Bagietka is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. Pedikov persists though and gets the takedown into guard. Bagietka wants to get back to his feet but Pedikov passes into half guard.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Bagietka scrambles, trying to get to his feet, but Pedikov manages to mount him!
That's one minute gone in the round. Bagietka is trying to stand up. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Bagietka is bucking up trying to escape but Pedikov cracks him with another couple of good strikes. Bagietka avoids a series of strikes thrown by Pedikov.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Pedikov controlling from mount. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Pedikov throwing sloppy strikes here. Perhaps if he tightened up his striking from such a dominant position, he'd be able to finish easier.
Pedikov pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage. Pedikov is working on an americana here. Ooh, that looks pretty nasty! Nope, Bagietka has managed to escape the submission attempt.

That's four minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Bagietka is not a happy chappy… he wants out of there.

It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Bagietka wants it to stay on the feet. Pedikov tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Bagietka swivels and escapes. Pedikov is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Bagietka takes a swing at Pedikov's ribcage but misses. Bagietka darts in and clinches Pedikov up against the cage. Pedikov has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Pedikov blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning. Pedikov has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Bagietka is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet. Michal Bagietka has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Pasha Pedikov. Pedikov is trying to pull guard but Bagietka turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch.

That's two minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Pedikov takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.

Michal Bagietka seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Pedikov forces Bagietka back against the cage and clinches. Pedikov drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Bagietka gets the underhooks and prevents it.

Pedikov shoots in but Bagietka avoids the takedown attempt easily. Bagietka throws a big counter combination but Pedikov scrambles out of danger and avoids any damage. We've been informed that Pedikov has been working hard on his conditioning in the buildup to the fight. Pedikov shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Bagietka as he jumps to the side. Pedikov shoots in looking for a takedown. Bagietka tries to sprawl out of it but Pedikov keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Bagietka manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Pedikov doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Michal Bagietka dominated that second round. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. This is the final round!

Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Bagietka walks away with a smile on his face. Pedikov gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head. Bagietka just misses with a punch to the body.
Bagietka tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Pedikov unleashes a big counter combination but Bagietka bobs and weaves and avoids any damage. Bagietka closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage. Bagietka is looking to break free of the clinch but Pedikov has double underhooks. Bagietka is trying to push Pedikov away but Pedikov has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere. Pedikov is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though. Bagietka breaks the clinch.

Bagietka is looking to wear down Pedikov with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment. Bagietka misses with a straight right. Pedikov looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it.

Pedikov shoots for a double leg takedown but Bagietka sprawls well. He's pushed Pedikov's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Some wild striking there from Bagietka.

This has been an exciting period of action! Bagietka is trying to escape and get back to his feet. A bit of a lull in the action. I'm sure it will pick up again soon... even if the ref has to physically pick them up and put them back on their feet.

That's four minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Bagietka swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Pedikov counters with a series of strikes. Bagietka will be more careful next time no doubt. Bagietka tries to clinch but Pedikov moves out of range. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Bagietka's half guard. Bagietka has managed to escape just enough to sneak back to his feet but Pedikov is on him like a limpet, forcing Bagietka back against the cage. Pedikov goes for a takedown in the clinch but Bagietka prevents it.
And that's the end of the fight! Michal Bagietka showed his dominance in that final round. I think Bagietka has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
