Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Johnny Bronco (ranked 225 p4p, 34 weight class) and Bobby Knuckles (ranked 552 p4p, 79 weight class). Bronco comes to the cage accompanied by The Horses - Daryl Braithwaite . Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the middleweight championship of the world! Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
15 - 4 - 0, fighting out of London, Johnny Bronco! And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
8 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Bobby Knuckles! The judges for this bout are Aleksei Zolotukhin, Vladimir Khabensky and Aleksandr Martynov.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Knuckles is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Bronco. Bronco throws a predictable looking body shot
and Knuckles counters with a straight right hand. Bronco walks into a jab. Johnny Bronco seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Bronco wants to clinch. Bronco looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight. The fight moves into the clinch position. Knuckles breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Bronco shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Knuckles napping and manages to drive through into side control! Knuckles sneaks back into half guard. Knuckles is in trouble now - Bronco has advanced to mount!
That's one minute gone in the round. Knuckles regains half guard. Bronco sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Knuckles defending well though. Bronco seems to be looking for submissions.
Bronco missing with the ground and pound from half guard. Knuckles felt the need to train up his defensive grappling in the buildup to the fight. Presumably he was expecting to be in a difficult position like this, so let's see if he can get out of it. Bronco thows a huge punch but Knuckles dodges it nicely.
Bronco has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Bronco wants to pass the guard but Knuckles is defending well. Bronco is working hard here to advance position. Bronco trying to control the action but Knuckles is working from the bottom.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Knuckles won't allow Bronco to pass to mount. Knuckles is trying is best to control the position here. Bronco not landing any meaningful shots this time. Bronco trying to control from half guard but Knuckles is working away. Knuckles is trying to get back to full guard. Bronco moves into full mount! Knuckles won't be happy about that! Bronco thowing strikes but they're hitting the gloves, not doing any damage. Bronco avoids the attempt from Knuckles to control. Bronco tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Bronco throws an elbow from mount that misses. Lucky escape for Knuckles because Bronco loaded up on that one. Knuckles tries to hold on but Bronco pushes him away. Bronco throwing sloppy strikes here. Perhaps if he tightened up his striking from such a dominant position, he'd be able to finish easier.
Bronco working Knuckles over with strikes here. Bronco misses with some ground and pound and Knuckles recovers position to half guard. Bronco is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
Bronco slips a nice elbow through Knuckles's hands, connecting with Knuckles's forehead. Bronco misses with a head shot. Knuckles uses the momentum to regain guard. Bronco preventing the sweep.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Bronco trying to control the position from guard on top but Knuckles is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Bronco looking to pass the guard. Bronco wants to control from the top but Knuckles keeps moving. Bronco is looking to advance position but Knuckles has hit a scissor sweep - now he's on top in mount! Knuckles prevents Bronco from getting the reversal. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Johnny Bronco dominated that round. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
Knuckles takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily. Bronco wants to clinch and Bronco takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. Knuckles stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Knuckles wants it to stay on the feet. Bronco has his takedown stuffed and Knuckles counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. Knuckles throws a leg kick but Bronco sees it coming and checks it nicely. Bronco misses with a right hand and Knuckles counters with a nice uppercut. Knuckles throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Bronco wants to clinch but Knuckles slips to the side and Knuckles counters with a slapping leg kick. Bronco lands with a good body shot. Bronco lands a jab to the nose. Bronco swings and misses with a hook to the body.
That's one minute gone in the round. Bronco tries to move into range but Knuckles moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand. Bronco swings away with a body shot that misses
and Knuckles counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. Bronco shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Knuckles as he jumps to the side. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Johnny Bronco. That's going to take a lot out of him. Bronco tries to close the distance and clinch but Knuckles swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Bronco lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw. Bronco has managed to clinch.
Knuckles has had enough of the clinch but Bronco keeps him there for the moment. Knuckles's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Bronco throws a body shot but no joy. Knuckles lands a really nice looking cross but Bronco seems unphased.
Nice uppercut there from Knuckles. No luck for Bronco with that takedown attempt. Knuckles throws out a counter right but Bronco avoids it with no problem.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A looping hook to the body misses from Bronco. Knuckles does a little dance to reset his feet. Bobby Knuckles is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Knuckles jabs. That one connects to the head of his opponent.
Knuckles takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Knuckles looks to score with a jab to the body but Bronco is just out of range. Knuckles connects with a good right hand that stumbles Bronco. Bronco circles away out of range and recomposes himself. Knuckles dips to his left and cracks Bronco with an uppercut! Knuckles scores with the left hand. Bronco knows he should have avoided that one. Bronco swings and misses with a shot to the body and Knuckles counters with a good low kick that Bronco was not able to check. Bronco tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Knuckles defends well and Bronco ends up having to push Knuckles into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch. Bronco slips under a jab. Bronco darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard. Bronco seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Bronco looking to pass the half guard. Not this time. Knuckles keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound. Bronco not throwing his punches with enough precision this time. Knuckles is trying to control but can't.
Bronco is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.

That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Knuckles's head. Bronco is looking to take a break and control but Knuckles is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Bronco is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Knuckles has managed to free his arm - good work. Bronco uses his free foot to push down on Knuckles's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Knuckles. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close second round but Bobby Knuckles will probably get the nod - 10:9. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
Bronco tries to score a power double leg takedown but Knuckles sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Bronco somewhat. Knuckles swats away the attempt to clinch by Bronco. Knuckles stuffs the takedown. Knuckles missing with a left hand there. Bronco was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one. Knuckles clobbers Bronco with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise. Bronco tries to clinch up but Knuckles circles away and keeps his distance. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. A telegraphed right hand from Knuckles misses the target. Bronco drops down looking for a counter takedown but Knuckles sprawls and moves away. Knuckles fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Bronco has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage. Bronco looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Knuckles is fending him off so far but Bronco persists. Nope, Knuckles circles away and we're back to standing. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Johnny Bronco. That's going to take a lot out of him. Bronco misses with an uppercut
and Knuckles counters with a stiff right hand. Knuckles has used his reach advantage pretty well so far tonight.
That's one minute gone in the round. Bronco tries to clinch up but Knuckles circles away and keeps his distance. Bronco shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat. Knuckles controlling the position. Bronco won't allow Knuckles to sweep him here. Bronco trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Bronco in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. Bronco wants to pass the guard but Knuckles is keeping the position. Knuckles utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Knuckles avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Bronco postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Knuckles is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Bronco, into his guard.
Bronco looking to try and escape his hips here, looking for a submission. It looks like he's going for a triangle but Knuckles is defending well. Bronco quickly switches to an armbar and extends the arm! Knuckles has no choice but to tap, to a very quick submission! Wow, that was lightning fast! Bronco celebrates on the cage, with the crowd.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:58 of round 3, we have a winner by way of Submission (Armbar). Johnny Bronco! Johnny Bronco retains his middleweight title! After winning the bout, Johnny Bronco thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
