Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Pauke Murhapuro (ranked 945 p4p, 26 weight class) and Full Time Panda (ranked 1678 p4p, 64 weight class). Both fighters look pumped up here. Let's hope this is a good fight!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Murhapuro looks to throw the jab but Panda is out of range.
Murhapuro connects with a good right hand that stumbles Panda. Panda circles away out of range and recomposes himself.

Panda throws a body shot but no joy.

Murhapuro throws a low kick, looking for Panda's leg but Panda calmly moves out of range.

Panda throws out a loose jab but Murhapuro uses good head movement to avoid it.
We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Panda has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Murhapuro enables Panda to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Murhapuro manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.

Panda lands a couple of elbows.

Murhapuro has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Panda can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Panda looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Murhapuro with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

Murhapuro makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Murhapuro.
Panda must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

Murhapuro is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Panda's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Panda's back!

Panda is displaying good submission defense - not really looking in danger of submitting to the rear naked choke at the moment. That could change in an instant of course if Murhapuro gets his way!
Murhapuro has the hooks in. Panda is trying to push off one leg but he has to do so cautiously to avoid being submitted.
Panda wants to escape the position but for the time being he's just trying to control the pace.

Murhapuro is looking to finish the fight by rear naked choke. Panda knows exactly what he's got planned though, so he's defending well. Maybe a few strikes would soften Panda for a finish.

That was a close round but I would say that Pauke Murhapuro will probably get the nod.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

Panda shoots in looking for a takedown. Murhapuro tries to sprawl out of it but Panda keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Murhapuro manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

It looks like Full Time Panda has been cut.

Murhapuro throws a leg kick but Panda moved away.
Murhapuro throws a hook to the side of Panda's head but Panda sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Panda fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Murhapuro to the ground. Panda is now in Murhapuro's guard.

Murhapuro throws his legs up looking to secure a triangle. Oh, that looks pretty tight, I gotta say! Panda escapes and throws Murhapuro's legs to the side, diving into side control!

Murhapuro has a hand on Panda's thigh, trying to get back to full guard. Panda takes advantage of the position though and mounts him!
Panda is landing with some decent strikes but Murhapuro is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue.

Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Panda postures up and throws a massive shot that knocks Murhapuro out cold! Two more strikes to his unconscious opponent for good luck and this one is all over! Panda goes absolutely crazy with his corner! Wow, you can see how much that win means to him!
