The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lao throws a head kick but Topps moves out of range.
Lao misses the jab.

Topps takes a head kick and shrugs it off.
Topps shoots in for a double leg but Lao sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.

Topps doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.

Topps steps to his left, right into the path of a big body kick from Lao. That one must have hurt.

Kung Lao seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Topps crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Lao - the referee stops the clock and Topps gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Lao. Topps manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.
Topps is breathing heavily.

Lao circles to his right before unloading a perfect head kick! Topps drops to the canvas, hurt badly! Lao follows Topps to the ground and unloads with a series of strikes that force the referee to step in and end the fight! This one is all over!
